At 18:16 on Thursday, 17 January, I gave birth to Timothy James Attridge with the help and support of my loving husband. I have created a second blog for him at http://timothy-james.blogspot.com. There is a link on the upper right side of this page. Like all parents, Paul and I feel we have created a perfect baby: sweet, beautiful, and clever, so I will warn you now that his blog will be one of TMI about OPK (too much information about other people’s kids), so if you don’t want to be bored, disgusted, or annoyed, stay away. I will continue to write about my travel experiences on this blog. Thanks for the baby grow Teri or Anne. I'm sorry ladies, I can't remember which of you gave this to us.

Walt Whitman's poem "A Noiseless Patient Spider" is the inspiration for the title of this blog, which is an attempt to remain connected to the people who have been part of my life.
