adjusting

Thanks to a lot of love and attention from Paul, or Super Dad as I think of him, we are adjusting to being a family of four. Tim was very angry with me for a whole day last week. It got so bad that it made me cry. I just kept thinking that he was hurting because he felt that I had rejected him so he was rejecting me in return. I hope that he is over that hurt. I am, but I understand things that he cannot as yet. My biggest concern throughout the pregnancy was that I would gain Luke but lose Timothy. I'm sure that some of you with children close in age know what I mean, and I don't need any reassuring comments. It's best for Tim that I not be his entire world and that he not be mine. It was a special time, and I cherish it. In regards to Luke, Timothy seemed a little afraid of him at first but has overcome that. He know hugs and kissed Luke, says his name 'Ook', and touches his head softly. He likes to point out Luke's nose, eyes, mouth, head and hair and lets us know whenever Luke cries. Timothy still doesn't sleep through the night, something that Super Dad is dealing with exclusively now, but Luke's crying doesn't seem to wake Tim.
